    IMMORTAL RED SONJA #2 is an entertaining issue that tones down the seriousness without getting too jokey or slapstick. The bickering between Red Sonja and her armor is entertaining, the Easter Eggs of myth and legend are fun surprises, and the art is generally serviceable. Read Full Review

    Issue #2 focuses on Sonja struggling to find footing in the new land with its rules, curses, and manner of dangers (and, of course, the constant annoyance from her armor). She also faces off against the Green Knight. Although victorious, her victory over him today portends a day of trouble somewhere down the road for the She-Devil with Excalibur. Read Full Review

    Sonjas adventure continues in June with the third issue...which appears to feature the return of Alessandro Miracolo as an artist. The unevenness of the art in the first couple of issues and the strange turn in tone keep this particular Sonja series feeling a bit unbalanced as it moves into its third chapter next month. Still, the concept is intriguing enough to maintain interest. Sonjas travels with a chainmail shirt possessed by King Arthur is way too fun to drop because of a weird shift in tone. Read Full Review
