Looking For Group is a hilarious ride through Fantasy and Adventure tropes, set in a reality and time unlike our own. A place where the eating of small children is not necessarily frowned upon; where beings of extraordinary power can destroy entire villages with only "because I could" as an excuse; where magic and adventure are as common place as setting fire to then reanimating a chipmunk into a skeletal minion (it happens more than you'd think); and an epic journey can begin by an accident of fate. With a brand new cover by Industry Veteran Ty Templeton (Batman '66 Meets The Green Hornet) and bonus stories from the Non-Playable Character an more

I would read more of this. My problems with the comics not-withstanding, for now the story remains entertaining and the backup content " strips starring "Little Dick" the warlock and a short tale about the troll "Tim" from the main story " really add to the chuckles and do give us something more to the story we just read. I remain uncertain about how they will maintain this dense-level of comic and fast pacing without burning through too much too fast, but until then this promises to be a fun, laugh-inducing comic that fantasy fans with a sense of humour should get a real kick out of reading. Like a lot of beginning aspects of a webcomic, there's a lot of issues to be had but you can also see a lot of potential. Looking For Group has that in the familiar yet twisted group that we have forming here and the way they mess with each other. There are problems in the pacing and how it reads in some ways, which will work better for some than others, but I'm curious to see how it grows and changes as it goes on and if it can find a better balance. The main backup story with artwork by Hawk is really cute and I definitely laughed at the simple comic strip humor of the final pages. But not being in the gaming world for many, many years, some of it just falls a bit flat – mostly because a lot of this is the same humor I read back in the 80's. It's got potential and I'm curious to see if it can grab hold of it. Read Full Review
