Overall. This was another solid issue with some awesome story beats and great artwork. I can't wait for the next issue to see what it all goes. Plus I'd love for us to be able to get to know Sheena's Grandmother a little more. She makes a big impression on this issue and hopefully will stick around for awhile in forthcoming issues. Sanapo with the help of de la Cruz continues this month some great visuals in the comic itself. Her art skirts on the edge of the "bad girl" art of the 90s - mostly due to the subject matter more than by choice - but never fully goes over the line. I'm hoping to see some improvement in the expressions of her characters, something I'm a big proponent of, but otherwise, a pretty good job on her part. Read Full Review
I had hoped after Sheena #6 that the tide might be turning on this series, as I've enjoyed Marguerite Bennett's writing in the past. Unfortunately, her efforts " with Christina Trujillo " to revamp the Steven E. De Souza revamp fall flat and are made worse by Maria Sanapo's artwork. Read Full Review
