Florida Geek Scene - Peter Schmeiser Apr 23, 2014

The first issue of Danger Girl Mayday was a great cold start to reinvigorate the title, but the last few pages could endanger the books mission to keep the readers interested. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Apr 23, 2014

As far as Danger Girl comics go…I'm pretty satisfied! There weren't too many gratuitous shots for those of you who aren't into that thing, and there's a satisfying flashback sequence that took me by surprise. It's too bad the first 14 or so pages really could have been boiled down to three or four, but clearly this was written with its four part series in mind. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Samantha Roehrig Apr 23, 2014

Not a lot happens in the issue, but it was still a fun read. I haven't had my Danger Girl fixed in a while. I would have loved some more story detail. I don't need to know who the mystery woman is, but give me some information or at least a mission detail. For now, I will have to wait until next month. But it is nice to have the ladies back. Nerds On The Rocks - Frank Lanza Apr 22, 2014

I suppose if you're a hardcore Danger Girl fan then this book promises the return of an original cast member and sports some nice artwork, so it would be worth your $3.99. I think for anyone else, especially for someone picking the book up off the shelf for the first time, it's a very confusing story with some pretty visuals. If impossibly tiny waists and pointy knives are your thing then this is a no-brainer! Read Full Review

Big Comic Page - Shane Hoffman Apr 22, 2014

Overall, the story just lacked a strong plot. It came across as a typical action movie plot, but one which was was lacking information and distinction of its parts. Read Full Review

    Capeless Crusader - Jesse Quick-Rincon May 21, 2014

I knew I was going to hate this comic the minute I saw it, but what surprised me is how funny I ended up finding it. I mean it's dumb, misogynistic, and completely vapid. But for a first comic rebooting this series you know everything you need to know. We don't know anything about character, the plot, the setting, or the motivation of anyone involved, but we know there are "hot chicks and lots of action." I can't recommend buying this comic, but I will say with the right lens of humor this comic is flat out hilarious how bad it is. I mean am I allowed to have my cheesecake and eat it too? The degree to which I recommend this comic can best be summed by how funny you find this scene because I laughed out loud. Read Full Review

What a let down for Danger Girl Fans. The cover is really good back to the camera arms crossed with huge knives, Then it turns into boring action with characters we don't know that look like characters we know with a opening scene we have seen before. The art is really detailed and the backgrounds are fully rendered. The Panel lay outs were above avenge and the coloring was top notch . The script is really bad and needed to be flushed out more.
