Comic Bastards - Carl Boehm Apr 3, 2013

In an ending that bittersweet and climactic, Stokoe ends his run on this, the best Godzilla series ever published by IDW. We can only hope that the good sales on this book will guarantee Stokoe a monthly book. Read Full Review

    IGN - Benjamin Bailey Apr 3, 2013

This issue also proves that Stokoe is one hell of a writer. It's a brilliant narrative cap, the kind of ending we rarely get in comic books. This series was less about Godzilla and more about the man who dedicated his life to stopping him. If you've been reading this from the beginning, the payoff is absolutely immense. The final encounter between these two is as good as it gets, seriously. Buy this book. Buy ten copies and hand them out to your friends and family. The world needs more comics like Godzilla: The Half-Century War. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - Michelle White Apr 5, 2013

Simply put, this is one masterfully executed final chapter to one epic story, and it's kind of a sad thing to see it coming to an end, however spectacularly. Still, I think it's pretty much guaranteed that we'll be seeing Stokoe's name on some similarly amazing titles soon. And for now, we have a tremendous title to recommend to all our monster-loving friends. Read Full Review

Unleash The Fanboy - Daniel Alvarez Apr 2, 2013

Overall, a great finisher to the Half Century War saga. I'm disappointed we'll no longer be seeing this version of Godzilla, it was the best portrayal of G IDW has given us. The fights in this comic are fantastic, and…Dimension Tide, the black hole shooter from Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, is used. The ending is awesome, andaltogetherthis will make one killer trade paperback for any fan, or if you want to introduce someone to Godzilla through the comic medium. Either way, The Half Century War will never be forgotten. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - Rob McMonigal Apr 4, 2013

James Stokoe pulls out all the stops for this one, returning to the idea of Godzilla as destructive savior of the earth. I love the way that we've built to this moment, where Murakami finally has enough power to be on the monsters' level. Read Full Review
