A prophet calling himself the "Master of Time" hides within a compound crawling with untold monsters and deadly traps. Jack the Samurai will need to become Jack the Infiltrator if he hopes to gain an audience with the mysterious master.
Whether or not this arc becomes as important or dramatic as the last, it definitely has plenty of entertainment value. Read Full Review
Letting Aku step into the shadows for an issue or two allows for a different kind of story and the tease of an unlikely team-up of the samurai and the thief certainly sells me on the new arc. Worth a look. Read Full Review
The issue concludes with the introduction of an old foe and a classic team-up trope of hero and villain. While not the most thrilling issue to date, Samurai Jack #16 is a solid beginning to what looks to be a fun heist story. Read Full Review
I didn't think that Samurai Jack could get better than the last story arc, but I think the Master of Time could give Aku a run for his money. With such a big following though, Jack is going to need some help to get past this cult. Even with his skills, he still needs someone. Someone who knows technology. This all leads to an unlikely partnership at the end, but you'll have to pick up the issue to see who Jack chooses to work along side with.
