The conclusion we've all been waiting for! One last epic, soaring moment with the crew of the Voyager awaits... Captain Janeway and her crew are prisoners of Species 8472 on their organic, ever-changing ship, and the Voyager is similarly snared in its clutches. But not all is lost. Imprisoned with them are the rebel Species 8472 who once posed as Starfleet members Boothby and Archer-and they hold the secret to their escape. All that stands between them and their homecoming now is Species 8472's revenge-bent captain...and the issue of how to open up a singularity into Earth's space.

Feb 17, 2026This is a really satisfying conclusion to the story, with Janeway ultimately brokering an accord with Species 8472 through the resistance, aided by Voyager and her crew. The book ends with Janeway delivering a powerful speech to 8472, speaking from the heart. Her words are juxtaposed with a series of touching panels showing the Voyager crew reuniting with their family and friends. Read Full Review

Feb 14, 2026Star Trek: Voyager - Homecoming #5 stumbles as it reaches the endpoint, but the creative team builds up enough good will from the previous issues and the clever touches in the finale. The story and art for the most are solid, but the finale would have benefitted from another 10 pages of story. Read Full Review

Feb 09, 2026Star Trek Voyager Homecoming #5 isnt the most satisfying conclusion to a story. While it does wrap up the main plot, at no time does it feel like thats what the writers were really concerned with. As a mission statement for what Star Trek can mean to people (and certainly does mean to these writers), it works very well. But the issue overall could have used more balance. Read Full Review
