Han and Chewie are my favourite character in all of Star Wars. I even own the original Brian Daley Han Solo books (first prints). Seeing this pair of scoundrels back in the action certainly put a smile on this old Star Wars fans face. Read Full Review
Overall, Star Wars Adventures: Smuggler's Run is a nice adventure which doesnt get too swept up in canon, and remembers to have fun. The story by Rucka is exciting. The Star Wars Adventures series from IDW is known for how accessible they are for younger readers, both in their narratives and in their art style, which makes this debut issue of the adaptation of Smuggler's Run a great way to pique the interests of slightly older readers, thanks not only to its subject matter, but also in its art style. Star Wars Adventures: Smuggler's Run is nothing special. This type of Han Solo story feels like it has been told repeatedly in recent years, and while this is an adaptation of a 2015 novel, it's not this aspect that causes the story to feel trite. Read Full Review
