Han and Chewie take the wrong job and find themselves in danger in this fun story. The scares are perfect for young readers, for whom this series is intended, but the sense of fun and the adventures the characters encounter will please all fans of Star Wars. In addition to the story, the visuals are awesome, with Han's smile and Chewie's worried face eliciting joy from the reader. A terrific read. Read Full Review
Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Vader's Castle brings horror to a galaxy far, far away. It's not full of blood and gore, though. The series is intended for all-ages, so it's like Goosebumps in space and there's nothing about that sentence that I don't love. Read Full Review
Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Vader's Castle #3 is a fun issue that captures both the spirit of Han and Chewbacca and the visual look of variousStar Warsanimations. Scott's writing moves at a fast pace with Han's adventure and the main story as the characters get deeper into Vader's castle. It doesn't take full advantage of the spooky factor with Zalla's powers, but its still an entertaining Halloween story that blends nicely withStar Wars. Read Full Review
It may not quite have the "Halloween" feel you're looking for, it may not quite have the "Star Wars" feel you're looking for. But Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Vader's Castle #3 is a very well-realized, colorful venue for Han and Chewie to do what they do best - fall backwards into situations beyond their control and escape by the skin of their teeth. We didn't expect the issue to be full-blown horror comics, compared to the darker stories of ghosts and monsters in the previous two issues, this week was just a bland Han Solo story that fell short of scares and signature Solo humor. Read Full Review
