Some great foreshadowing for Anakin and a riotous outing on Tatooine make this an entertaining issue. There's plenty of laughs to be had and enjoyable visuals for the little ones, for whom this book is intended, but older fans will gasp at the illustrations on Pages 10 and 11. Read Full Review

The Star Wars Adventures happily fill the void for a casual comic book, aimed at younger audiences, which is what Star Wars is really all about. While the Max Rebo story was too basic for my liking, I really enjoyed the conclusion of the main “Intermission” story, which delivered an interesting take on “war”. Read Full Review
The story itself wasn't much to sink our teeth into, as a group of gangsters pursued a young Max, though we did get to see how the musician became indebted to Jabba, which was really all the story offered. Read Full Review
A great 2 parter from one of the best artists in comics.
It could be possible that a prequel renaissance is coming. Padme and Anakin teaming up is a nice treat as is the second story which features a deep cut character.
