When an emergency landing separates BB-8 from Poe Dameron, the astromech droid must make friends with the natives to repair their ship and return home to the Resistance.

Plus, an exciting new Flight of the Falcon story!

A great collection of old and new characters in two fun tales. It was neat to see Poe in an adventure with BB-8 and I'm always more than willing to have an outing with the original group of heroes. The visuals are good, with the first tale having the look of classic Harvey Comics at times and the second looking like stills from an animated feature. This is excellent reading to transport readers of all ages to a galaxy far, far away. Read Full Review

The art was pretty good in both the main and back-up stories. I especially liked the art in the back-up, I think it suits the series. Overall, it was an enjoyable issue. Nothing really notable but still fun. The main story is more or less what I expect from the series, just a quick read that’s nice but doesn’t have anything that memorable. I’m enjoying the Flight of the Falcon line much more than I thought I would when it was announced and I think Moreci’s writing is a decent part of that, I’m enjoying the comics side of the line more than I’ve enjoyed the book side so far. The hook at the end of the back-up has me especially excited for the next issue, I have a really good feeling about it. Read Full Review

As is a common occurrence, C-3PO unwittingly has a hand in their potential safety, with this story offering little narrative excitement, other than perhaps delivering an anecdotal incident of a droid saving our "heroes." Read Full Review

This is the issue I have been waiting for! The main story is full of heart, Gilarte writes a perfect Poe. Gilarte shows a side of Poe which we have not seen before as he takes on the role of a big brother to the new adorable character of Kori. We are introduced to this new character and introduced to perhaps one of the first indigenous tribes we have seen in Star Wars. Kori and BB-8 have one of the cutest introductions (reminded me of E.T in a way).

Poe and BB-8 are on a tribal planet looking for information that will lead them to Lor San Trekka however things turn for the worse when they are faced with a huge monster. Kori comes in and saves our heroes. Kori is star struck by BB-8 and Poe and is inspired to leave his planet and more

I'm glad they aren't doing the tales from wild space section anymore. Classic characters. Plenty of fun. That's what matters.
