TMNT Universe #13 is another excellent entry into this series and provides great characterization to Karai, Bludgeon, and Koya. The art is absolutely stunning and Campbell continues to impress with each Issue. Karai continues her path to discover herself as she tries to find an ancient sword, but things will not be easy and powerful items are usually protected by some powerful foes. Read Full Review

Flickering Myth - Chris Cooper Aug 18, 2017

Mondo's descent into punk rock raging against the machine is a bit on the nose, but Ryan Ferrier provides a solid foil in how he writes Michelangelo and Pablo Tunica's loose linework and Patricia Delpeche's saturated colors are the perfect aesthetic for Mondo's worldview. Read Full Review

a lot of exposition in this story, but it was necessary to plot.

i do enjoy the direction with the art, though a few faces looked a bit odd to me. still loved it very much though.

the legend of the sword was really cool. it was nice to see the reference of Takeshi Tatsuo from 'Secret History of the Foot Clan'.

Karai's out of body experience was very cool to see. love these Eastern spiritual moments.

the cliff-hanger at the end of the main story holds much promise.
