Sep 19, 2012It's no secret that I loved the first volume of this series, and this issue has a lot of potential to reach that. I loved the opening pages of this issue and Nilson does a great job keeping the writing fresh and funny. I love all the set-up here, but I think there's a bit too much being thrown at the reader for a four issue mini-series. The art team here does a fantastic job, especially on the colors. Sep 19, 2012The Pound Ghouls Night Out surprised me in how complete a comic book it is. Rarely have I read characters as engaging as these, and married with a well-paced art style, it makes for an amazing read. If they do another Kickstarter for future volumes of this title, then count me in. Read Full Review

Sep 19, 2012The Pound: Ghouls Night Out #1 is a great first issue. I wasnt familiar with it going in and by the time I was done I wanted to know more. Some readers might feel theyre missing bits and pieces of story. Which I will give those readers that, yet I say hang in there. By the end of this issue youll be wanting the second. While I walked in mostly blind, Im glad I took a chance on the series. Youll be glad you did, by the time youre done with this comic, youll want to be caught by this pound. Read Full Review

Sep 18, 2012Being that this is my first introduction to the series, I was a bit lost jumping right into this book. The prologue was brief and wasn't able to set the tone properly for myself as a new reader and I had little knowledge of the guest starring character Proof. I'm sure for the cult following of fans for this series this is a great anticipated return to The Pound's fun and silly horror in Ghouls Night Out. Read Full Review
