TRANSFORMERS: LOST LIGHT #12 is jampacked with the right amount of suspense and excitement. James Roberts keeps you on the edge of your seat, providing twists and turns to keep you engaged. Jack Lawrence's clean and simple illustration aids Roberts, delivering the right facial reactions during the climactic peaks of the plot. Andrew Griffith is also featured in this issue; however, much of his artistic direction comes across as rough and cramped. Read Full Review
Where this is all going, I'm not sure. The issue is full of surprises including the ending. There's death and lots of questions to be answered. It's clear this ship is full of traitors but what that means… who knows? There's also an interlude that's beyond exciting and has me wanting to see what's next. This has been a great story arc with some of the best writing in a while. That's impressive considering IDW's Transformers both entertains and makes you think. Still more than meets the eye. Transformers: Lost Light #12was a good conclusion that elevated Getaway's status as a villain while propelling the story forward with some interesting beats and cliffhanger. The only downside is that Scavengers interlude, but overall it was still an exciting issue with some nice artwork. Read Full Review
