Usagi joins his friend the bounty hunter, Gen, and his partner Stray Dog in recovering a stolen sword, an heirloom of the Higashi Clan. However, they quickly find that possessing the sword is one thing, but returning it is something entirely different as they must fight through a gauntlet of rivals wanting to claim the reward for themselves.
It's a delightful, one-and-done tale that will please new readers and veterans alike. Read Full Review
It's funny as well as action-packed. Reminded me a bit of a Kurosawa movie. It's consistently high-quality storytelling by Stan Sakai. I just wish more people were reading it on a monthly basis.
Stan Sakai demonstrates his aptitude for comedy.
