It's clear that Ember's doubts are not unusual, as there's an underground resistance of sorts that's picking up steam. Some of this is explored in Big Girls #3, adding another layer to this ever-growing story. The Preserve are definitely painted as the oppressive regime, the evil empire if you will. How far does this go? And what lengths will Ember and the resistance go to put a stop to it? Perhaps more importantly, what price will they pay?
