    All-Comic - Tyler Goulet Jan 26, 2015

It feels so fresh and different from what you're getting out there, and considering the things that Image is doing that's saying a lot. This is one of those series that has immediately jumped into must-read territory. It feels like something that anybody can pick up and enjoy the hell out of, so why not go out there and pick it up and enjoy the hell out of it! Read Full Review

    Shadowhawk's Shade - AJ Jan 31, 2015

And the art, well, nothing to really say about the art, again, except that it is amazing and poignant. Lots of action, lots of suicidal bravery, lots of surprised and expressive faces and great body language. Seriously, at this point, there's nothing you can really about the art except regurgitate previous stuff. I love the art, that's all there is to it, truly. And it all comes down to that final moment, a showdown between Bernie and… someone I'd rather not spoil for those who haven't read the issue yet. Read Full Review

    Outright Geekery - Akadavid Jan 30, 2015

This is the issue that might have the most impact on the series to date. The series only has two more issues to go and I expect those remaining issues to be one hell of a roller-coaster ride. Sejic's artwork and story have kept me reading Death Vigil month after month. I hate havingto wait a month because I want to see how the members of the Death Vigil bounce back after what's happened in this issue. Not to mention, Sejic's run on Rat Queens starts in February. There's going to be somuch Sejic next month! Read Full Review

The Vigil may have met their match, but we still have a few more issues. The Necromancers may have won this battle, but the Vigil should win this war. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal Jan 28, 2015

It's clear that this is not a series meant to go on forever and that's okay. I come from a school of thought in which stories should end. In fact it's a growing trend in comics and one that I wholly support. This first volume has two more issues left and we'll just have to see if Sam really is 100% dead or not, but it would be kind of bullshit if he wasn't. Either way though I will be back for more of Death Vigil. If you haven't checked it out then do so. Be sure to recommend it to anime lovers as well since they're sure to see how great this series is.
