    At this point with Dragotta and Hickman's work cohering so flawlessly, I have likely tapped only the bare minimum of what is going on in this issue. Suffice it to say there is no better comic available at the moment and if you've read the previous twenty-two, this issue will not disappoint. One can only hope 2016 keeps up the quality.     East of West is a series that tends to change in focus and tone with just about every new issue. So after last month's bold, action-driven and almost completely text-less installment, it's not surprising to see issue #23 emphasize dialogue and character interaction over spectacle.     East of West slows down just a bit, but we get to revisit with a character we hadn't seen in a while in how they tie into this overall conflict. So far in this arc, we've touched upon different characters and their relationship to the overall conflict, rotating between plotting and physical warfare. Even with more dialogue heavy issues like this one, it's still a good ride. Read Full Review
