GHOSTED comes back after a break swinging hard. It explores Anderson's past and while it isn't a story that needs to be told, it's a story fans will be more than happy to read. However, this is a terrible jumping on point for new readers. Do yourselves a favor and buy the trades before reading this. Williamson, Sudzuka, and Mrva provide an exciting, one-shot read, that readers will want to read again and again. Overall, this is a fun horror series that you need on your pull list. GHOSTED is awesome and it shows no signs of slowing down, even as we are given a bit of an aside in between arcs. Williamson has created an exciting and twisted world in this book and in collaboration with his artistic partners, has brought it to devilish life in ways that make us scream for more. In my opinion, Ghosted lost a little steam in the last storyline. There were times when I felt it really would have been better served as the mini-series it was intended to be. But after reading Ghosted #11, I feel like the equally character and ghoul driven book is setting itself back on the path the first arc had set it on. If you didnt get the chance to pick up Ghosteds previous stories, the previous two five-issue arcs have been collected into trades! This is the perfect time to do that since a new story will begin next time, and it will help enjoy it as much as possible! That way you pick up everything thats going on in this wonderful book! Truly Williamson has proven himself to be a master of horror, and this issue serves as a reminder that he hasn't forgotten his compelling characters along the way. It's a breath of fresh air in horror that never seems to run out of steam. The only thing that saddens me this month is that we didn't go deeper. I wanted to learn more and really get into the core of what drives Anderson. The answer we got here was that she's driven by her drive, but I think there is still so much more to the character. In any event, her drive has now made her resolve to haunt Jackson for the rest of his miserable life. Read Full Review
