Above all else, Ghosted #7 is very much about playing with expectations. There is one moment involving Taylor and Nuki that you see coming a mile away, but it seems intentional so everything else that follows has the ability to go in the other direction. How far will Jackson go to save his own skin? What is the actual purpose of the Brotherhood? What does Wenona really want with her granddaughter? It's a great way for Williamson to play around with the concept and give a fresh take on hauntings and possession. Anderson acting as Jackson's own murderous Jiminy Cricket is delightful, by the way. And I continue to be blown away by Davide Gianfelice's art. The details, the gestures, that one creepy smile that I'm sure will come back to haunt us all in our nightmares"it's so fluid and gorgeous that I can't wait to see what else Williamson comes up with so I can see Gianfelice make it manifest in the artwork. This book has honestly been one of the best series to come out in a good while. Joshua Williamson continues to kill this series with great character work and thoughtful story telling. Not that you need another reason to buy this series, but the letters page has been turned into a share your ghost story section, which is downright creepy. GHOSTED #7 really kicks this new story up into high gear. The book may feel more like a detective story rather than a heist book, which was the entire first arc, but this story still retains a lot of what people loved about that first story, while raising the bar for the book. Williamson is really crafting a spooky and entertaining world for readers and Gianfelice's art gives this issue a great sense of style and purpose. This is a series, like many Image books, you really need to jump on and read. I can't give this a higher recommendation. Read Full Review

Overall, Ghosted #7 has plenty of shocking moments. Jackson seems to be stuck with no way out and Anderson said she will not save him. Is there another ghost who will save Jackson or will he enter the spirit world which was promised to be full of pain for him. Read Full Review

Ghosted continues to deliver on the promise of its premise in new and interesting ways. This second arc is another fun spin on the horror genre with a near perfect fuse of crime elements. It manages to breath new life into both genres and creates something entirely new and totally enviable. While Jackson Winter may be a stereotypical ‘Ocean Eleven's' style con-man, Williamson manages to throw him into scenarios interesting enough that you forgive the main character's flaws. While I wasn't sure if this book was going to continue in quality after the first volume, I'm pleased to note that the quality has stayed where you would expect and together with a new artist Williamson is bringing some strange and creepy ideas that readers may not want to miss. 8 out of 10. Davide Gianfelice in on art duties, and his characters are all unique and expressive. His style is fairly down-to-earth, which makes the book's sudden shifts into the paranormal that much more shocking. His clear and dynamic action along with his appropriately gruesome monsters makes it clear just what kind of danger our main character continues to find himself in. Read Full Review
