It's hard to describe 'Ice Cream Man' in a way that makes any sense, but let me make it clear that this is one of my favorite issues of the book, and the upbeat ending, while uncharacteristic, is incredibly enjoyable. Read Full Review
This was honestly a wonderful issue. While the issue spreads with paranoia and honestly could have had the classic hopeless or painful story lesson many of these issues have, but instead has a hopeful end. Not necessarily a happy ending, per say (it might be), but one with hope and direction. Prince does an excellent job evoking emotions in his books and this one is no exception. I loved the refreshing pallet cleanser with a most optimistic outcome. Cherish your life and live.
It didn't resonate with me initially but the more I think about it the more I like it. Another great addition to the series.
