The gradual journey that Flestcher, Kerschl and Msassyk is pretty remarkable. The story moves slowly without detracting from its power. The slow movement locks in a sense of mystery about the world thats being presented. Once again Fletcher and company present another corner of a story that appears to be brimming with potential life resting on the horizon of the next issue. Read Full Review

Isola #6 is yet another gorgeous burst of sequential art from this creative team, more of the developing fantasy tale with its themes of loyalty, desperation, trust. This is the first issue back after hiatus, starting a new arc. Im loving this title, and I encourage any with even mild interest to pick up this issue along with the $9.99 first volume Image trade. Isola #6 is a very pretty book with a writing team who knows when to let the art do the talking. This is a charming fantasy story told with great visual flair whose only weakness may be the lack of story progression and a slightly sedate pace. Read Full Review

Rook is able to get the supplies and that's it. No scary beast destroys the camp, no one of high authority finds Rook, that's just it. The end. And I was a bit disappointed. The return of one of the most beautiful books I've ever read, and my expectations get shot down.Although the short issue bothered me, it gave me more time to just stare at the amazing art by Kerschl and Msassyk. I almost would like to see what they could do in a superhero comic, but Isola is just their "element". Read Full Review
Such a beautiful comic with an amazing collaboration between art and writing. I find myself lost in the world, scanning the illustrations for so long. Moving, original and fast becoming my favourite comic
