A series which continually betters itself. Just when I though perfection was reached it gets better. King Spawn is a series from the Spawn multiverse that stands high above the rest, although it is a kind of spin off title it still feels very much central to the multiverse as a whole and I can't wait to see what's next. Not hard to shed a tear for Spawn during this, as his plight is very easy to mirror since life is filled with loss and the opportunity to philosopher's stone that natural part of life would be enough to drive anyone to the depths of their most depraved. King Spawn #13shifts the story into a new gear as the hellish anti-hero comes to terms with his new powers. Having made new enemies, Spawn, it's possibly safe to say, will be in for some of the biggest battles of his life.
