  As the larger threat is revealed a little bit more, it can feel a little bit less tense. The characters know what they're up against. They revealed a little bit more about themselves. A little bit more about what they know. A lot of a mystery is lifting by the end of the third issue. The creative team is to make a really good job of holding the readers straight through the end of the third issue in spite of the lifting mystery. Read Full Review

  Of the Earth #3 marks an important turning point for the series as Chris Condon begins cashing in on the slow-burn tension established in earlier issues. Charlie Adlard delivers another eerie performance, bringing the Wildcatter to terrifying life while maintaining an atmosphere thick with uncertainty. The pace still leans deliberate, but the mounting danger, fractured relationships, and stronger horror elements suggest the series is poised for an explosive finish. Read Full Review

  Condon and Ehrich create a thrilling, engaging and intriguing story in this issue. I continue to enjoy how this story is unfolding and the different layers to the characters. I liked the reveal about Arlene and what it means for her interactions with Thomas. I like that there are new and interesting mysteries being explored in this issue and how the story is blending that mystery with some great horror elements. Read Full Review
