It is this kind of narrative which makes Rose worthwhile to read and savor, if not for a moment, but for all time. After taking a brief hiatus, writer Meredith Finch and artist Ig Guara return to the land of Ttereve with Rose #7, and on every level, the break has yielded one of the strongest issues of the fantasy series to date. With new plot elements that up the level of intrigue and set up new stakes and goals, the best art on the series to date, and solid character development, this might be the series' best issue so far. Overall, I enjoyed this issue of Rose, finding it to be a revealing chapter in this tale. It was good to have a small glimpse into Rose and Drucilla's past, giving us more of an understanding of the events that helped to shape these characters. I'm curious to see how things will unfold in the future, and I look forward to when the next issue comes out. Read Full Review
Character development is still happening a bit too rapidly but man this issue delivered a lot in other places.
