Jon and Suzie have had to deal with a whole lot in their time together but nothing can prepare them for...Robert Rainbow. Actually he's a pretty cool guy. And that's the problem. Come along and laff and love with the Eisner Awardnominated SEX CRIMINALS by MATT FRACTION (SATELLITE SAM, HAWKEYE) and special guest artist CHIP ZDARSKY (SPAWN*, THE WALKING DEAD*) *avid reader of
So much is at play in this issue as Matt and Chip continually build upon this world that once seemed wacky and is now all too real. Don't worry: the laughs are still there. And remember, we don't know how Sexual Gary feels about drugs, but he definitely says “No” to AIDS. Read Full Review

Sad, funny, and loaded with secondhand embarrassment, Fraction and Zdarsky kill it once again in Sex Criminals #8. Read Full Review
Fraction is arguably one of the best writers in comics today, and Sex Criminals is the best example of why that may very well be the case. He, with the ever consistent Chip Zdarsky, have crafted the single greatest representation of modern relationships in our increasingly sex positive culture. Weaving sexual health facts pulled directly from Planned Parenthood, drama and laugh out loud humor in the perfect respective amounts equates to the most personal and realistic, outside of the time spent in Cumworld, book on the shelves today. It's one that not only can, but should be read with a partner. Read Full Review

Eight issues in, "Sex Criminals" is going strong. Fraction and Zdarsky have created a book in which the unexpected is always right around the corner, but somehow in a fluid natural way that's emotionally resonant and fulfilling, even while you're laughing your ass off. Read Full Review
Sex Criminals is a book I continue to enjoy with each issue. Im never really sure what to expect each time I open it up. Fraction always manages to make me laugh at things most would find inappropriate. Then again my mind lives in the gutter more often than not. This issue wasn't what I expected in comparison to previous releases. The ending really caught me off guard and is a great cliffhanger. Im sure Fraction has something big in store for us. If you've been reading this book regularly, you're aware of the madness that is Sex Criminals, and you might expect that there aren't any surprises left in their bag of tricks. You (and, to be honest, I) would be wrong" Sex Criminals #8 is a great balance of funny, awkward, sad and touching, with a smidgen of heartbreak to spice it all up. Read Full Review
So many issues have passed with Jon and Suzie on a stable relationship, so to see them apart is strange and freshening for the series. That first scene at the gynecologist's was perfect: funny, extremely awkward and actually sweet in the end. To add Robert Rainbow in the cast was a great move as his shocking background is excellent for future, weird installments and sexy adventures.
The ending was heartbreaking in Matt Fraction's style. And I definitely loved the sudden mixing of different points of view to describe it.
These characters have so much heart and are so relatable, the sex part of this becomes secondary. And boy, that last page was heart-shattering.
