Geeked Out Nation - Mark Pritchard Nov 21, 2013

If you pick up that trade, what you'll find within is an unsettling yet thought provoking story. Not really about preppers, or survivalists but about group power dynamics and some harsh truths about the reality of human nature within group situations. I highly recommend it, but be warned. There's some pretty gruesome stuff here. It's not comic book evil. It's real evil, and that of course is probably the most disturbing thing of all. Sometimes when you look in the mirror you end up not liking what you see. Sheltered offers you a mirror. Will you look? Now that's up to you. Read Full Review

Sheltered #5 is definitely a great addition to this unique story being told. This is definitely a great series to hop onto, and with the cliff hanger at the end, I can only hope to see something big happen in Sheltered's next issue. I'm giving it a 4.2/5. Bloody Disgusting - Jorge Solis Nov 21, 2013

Sheltered #5 is a terrifying and gripping look at teen rebellion gone horribly gone. With the conclusion of the first story arc, the “Sheltered” series closes the suspenseful ride with a frightening plot twist. Read Full Review

The stage is set. We know that there isnt much that Lucas wont do to keep the kids at Safe Haven under his thumb. The question Im dying to know the answer to is if there is any benevolence in him and/or a true need for his drastic actions. I hope Brisson and company takes pity on us next month and lets us in on the secret. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Adam Kelly Nov 20, 2013

The story in this comic is quickly becoming one of my favorites, and this book is just getting started. Right after I read it I contemplated for a while what will happen next and I think that's the mark of a memorable read. The first trade comes out December 9th and collects this first story arc. If you're reading this review chances are you've read other issues in the series, but if you want all the physical issues in one place with extras definitely check it out. I can't wait to see what's in store for this next arc. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - David Henderson Nov 22, 2013

Overall, this issue brought to a close the series' first arc in as slow a manner as it opened. Hopefully, the cliffhanger at the end of the issue is a tease that thing are about to pick up the pace which is what this series needs. It already has an extremely solid, if twisted, premise behind it fleshed out with fascinating characters and a location dripping with atmosphere thanks to the art. All it needs is that jumpstart that comes with a solid story arc that ramps up the stakes and the tension and this could become a truly great series. Read Full Review

Big Comic Page - Alan Shields Nov 19, 2013

This latest issue continues to keep the reader guessing as to whether there is actually a natural disaster looming, or if Lucas is actually playing everyone as part of a bigger plan, but ultimately the pacing of this story feels too drawn out to actually keep you caring, and instead of closing the first arc, the end of issue #5 feels more like the mid-point in a story that may already be losing its way.
