Amazing Spider-Man (1999) #700.1

Dec 4, 2013

Spiderman fans rejoice! After a year of missing our friendly neighborhood Spiderman, Marvel has decided to throw us a bone. If you've been reading Superior Spiderman, or even stopped after issue 700 of Amazing Spiderman I recommend picking up this book, It's a nice way to hold all of us believers over until the much waited return of Peter to the ongoing series.

Amazing Spider-Man (1999) #700.4

Dec 18, 2013

Although the story told here is a short one, it is still a good one, and I always say quality over quantity. I would have liked to see a bit more of this, however we are still getting some more Spiderman stories from other writers. For all you Spiderman fans out there, if you're going to pick up any of these celebratory Amazing Spiderman issues, I recommend picking up Joe Casey's two issue story. I'm giving The Amazing Spiderman 700.4 a 4.6/5

Avengers World #1

Jan 8, 2014

Overall Hickman and Caselli do a great job of throwing in another Avengers title into the mix. The writing and art are great, and I think we may have a cool first arc coming our way. Here's to hoping The Avengers don't get too played out. I'm giving Avengers World #1 a 4/5

Jan 22, 2014

If you're looking for a book that will give you a break from all the serious stuff, and instead you just want to have fun and enjoy a quick read, than Bad Ass #1 is the book for you. It's fun, crude, and just down right bad ass. I'm giving Bad Ass #1 a 4/5

Batman (2011) #25

Nov 13, 2013

If youre reading Snyders Zero Year, then there really is no reason for you not to pick this book up. Although it may seem a little slow, and somewhat of a placeholder for this event, there really is no such thing as a bad Batman issue when Scott Snyder is writing it.

Batman (2011) #27

Jan 22, 2014

Overall, Snyder and Capullo did it again, with a great issue to continue a long with Zero Year. I recommend this series as a whole, however Zero Year is a great place to start off. If you're reading Zero Year you won't be disappointed with Issue 27, if you aren't reading Zero Year, well, you should just be disappointed with yourself.

Black Science #1

Nov 27, 2013

Overall, if you miss Black Science #1, you really won't be missing anything at all. This book has some promise however, and hopefully the next few issues give us a bit more of an explanation of what exactly is going on. If you're a fan of Remender, or like picking up Image books in hopes that they will turn into something great, than I'd say there's no harm in picking this one up. If you're just looking for a new series to jump onto, this may no be for you. I'm giving Black Science #1 a 2.8/5, in hopes that this series may turn into something a bit better than it is now. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Black Science #2

Dec 18, 2013

Overall I just don't think this book is something that can't be missed. If you're into the dark/gritty science fiction genre than maybe this book is something you'll enjoy, but I do believe the majority of comic readers, especially those with an obsession for all the greats Image has churned out over the years, this book just won't do it for you.

Deadly Class #1

Jan 22, 2014

If you're a fan of Remender's work then I do suggest picking up this book. It is a nice read, and although it was lacking a bit, It was enjoyable from start to finish. I think that a great story can be told as more issues become released, and I hope that my expectations can be met.

Green Arrow (2011) #26

Dec 4, 2013

Overall, I think this issue may be setting up for a great new arc for the series. I'm definitely going to be excited to pick up the next issue after the way it left off, however I do wish that there was a little bit more of a wow factor for this issue. If you've been reading, and enjoying, Green Arrow I do suggest you pick this book up. This also may not be a bad spot for new readers who are interested to jump in.

Inhumanity: The Superior Spider-Man #1

Jan 15, 2014

Overall, we get a decent book that is easy to read, with a fun little story that won't disappoint most readers. Although this book may have just been a way for Marvel to make some more money off of an event, we can hope that it does play a small part in the coming months. I'm giving Inhumanity: Spiderman a 3.2/5

Saga #17

Dec 18, 2013

Overall Saga has proven to be the best book on my list each month it comes out. I can't stress enough that this is a must read series, even though it's already at issue 17. If you haven't picked this up yet then I highly recommend picking up the trades and getting into this series, and for all you Saga readers out there, you'll be pleased to know that Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples have added another great addition to their series.

Sex Criminals #3

Nov 21, 2013

If you haven't jumped on this train yet, you've made quite the mistake. Luckily we're only three issues in and so far this story is panning out to be great. I found myself laughing at all of the ridiculous, cheesy, teenage sex jokes, while still feeling the connection between the two characters which is something a bit rare in comic books out there these days. I'm giving Sex Criminals #3 a 4/5. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Superior Spider-Man (2013) Annual #1

If you're just reading this series to be there when the real Peter Parker comes back, then maybe you can skip this one. I'm giving this book a 3/5.

With this only being the second chapter of All Out War, Im excited to see what else Kirkman has in store for The Walking Dead. Im giving this issue a 4.5/5

Overall it seems as though 'All Out War' is turning out to be great so far, however it is only onto its third chapter so no one knows for sure what Kirkman and Adlard have in store for us. Whether you've been reading The Walking Dead from the start, or binge-read the trade paper backs, you should definitely be excited for this issue, especially since you don't have to wait an entire month for the next one! I'm giving The Walking Dead 117 a 3.7. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

The Walking Dead #118

Dec 11, 2013

Once again we have another great installment of All Out War. This arc is turning out to be one of the best the series has seen in a long time, and I am always excited when I get to put The Walking Dead on my pull list. Although our fears of whether or not this arc will turn out to be a positive addition to The Walking Dead's story line cannot be put to bed yet, we are getting there. I'm giving The Walking Dead 118 a 4/5
