Poppy makes a decision at the king's tournament that backfires on her. Meanwhile, Cyrenic begins to struggle with side effects of his Sleeplessness.
Overall, Sleepless, is absolutely a book you should be reading. Though it is slower paced than other books readers may be used to it is a welcome moment of escape. The art is a treat for the mind to absorb and the overall feel of the story is a very positive one. Its an adult fairy tale without an R rating, and this is a very good thing. Read Full Review
The tourney winds down predictably, with Poppy and Rellen's rivalry getting more intense as Cyrenic shows why he gets so much respect. Watching Cyrenic do his battles while Poppy does hers is a great juxtaposition. We're still waiting for so much from this comic: the romance to blossom, the plot to be revealed, Poppy to come into her own. It is unfolding. Which I guess is a decent enough summation of the issue- All right. Sleepless #3 is not going to wow you in any particular facet. But it's enough to keep you hoping the next issue is better. Read Full Review
