Spawn Kills Everyone #1

It was pretty damn hard to write this review because I liked it somuch. I didn't want to ruin it for you before you got the chance to read it. I loved it!When you're in your local comic shop this week, do yourself a favor and pick itup. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it, too. Brimming with blood and guts, but not much else, "Spawn Kills Everyone" promises hero-on-hero carnage, aims for biting satire, but ultimately fails to deliver either. Read Full Review

Even ignoring the somewhat troubling premise, there's not a great deal to like about Spawn's latest standalone adventure. Spawn Kills Everyone #1 offers plenty of cutesy violence but very little plot or even memorable battles between heroes. Nor does the flat sense of humor do much to spice up this little misadventure. Do yourself a favor and DON'T BUY THIS COMIC! Don't even read it! I'm shocked it's getting a second print and if it wasn't for our rating system automatically calculating the total, I would give this book 1 out of 5 stars. There's nothing in Spawn Kills Everyone that justifies spending money on it, or even reading it. As a giant Spawn fan I found it insulting and maddening that Todd McFarlane would want to put out something of this quality. It's a half-baked idea at best. Read Full Review
