To escape a wedded fate worse than death, Sharri and Jael flee into the thorny wilderness beyond the secret nunnery that's all they've ever known. But the brutal Old Mothers of the Mountain, with their stone spears and bone daggers, aren't about to let the young brides slip away.
This is another fantastic issue of James Aaron's "The Goddammed: The Virgin brides". Aaron writes a fantastic issue that not only builds on the world of this comic but develops most of his characters. The art is stunningly realistic with gorgeous colours throughout and the lettering is used well to highlight important aspects of the issue. Overall, a great comic. Read Full Review
I liked this issue for its vigor and energy in the child protagonists. They live in an untamed world and it's interesting to see how if you go against the rules in such a world you can live and succeed. The fantasy elements are lacking here, but this issue will win you over with its main characters. Read Full Review
