The New Order 2 #2 continues to build a new corner of this fascinating supernatural world of sorcerers, warlocks and magic folk. We get more of the salty Kevin Mitchell as well as the introduction of the charismatic but damaged Francis King. Plus, more on the machinations of the Romanian tracksuited bad guys too. This second issue of The Magic Order 2 was a little more sedate than last issue, but don't let that fool you because there is definitely an underlined tension to it. And the final few pages show us that Victor Korne is not to be underestimated. Read Full Review
This issue comes at you hard and fast with new characters and a fair chunk of background information through interaction and dialogue. This is well balanced with Millar's signature shock tactics involving crazy, horrific magic, violence, and creatures as we are pulled deeper and deeper into the story brought to life by a highly skilled creative team that brings the magic to life. First off, artist Stuart Immonen and colorists Sunny Gho and David Curiel create some truly outstanding work in The Magic Order II #2, consistently finding unique but also disturbing ways of conveying death, destruction, and tension. Read Full Review
