Well lacking some upbeat moments and action if you will, the drama and heart of the story make up for this. The sullener tone allows the reader to soak in the importance of what is going on and the uncertainty of the family. This series always delivers and is a great family book. Plot This picks up right where the shocking ending of the previous installment left off. Rachel, Rae, Richie, and Rodney arrive at the crater where Raina crashed, but they see no sign of Roland. Raina wakes up with no memory of anything, so they all have to explain everything from scratch. Agents from the future are tracking the entire battle between Raina and the Rocketfellers.
