The Season's continues to be a thrilling build to a classic mystery. Spring's character development is perfectly done and add to the stakes of everything going on around her. The carnival is wonder to explore. Beautiful scenes in dynamic backgrounds make for a page turner! Each panel feels like a work of art. The story is so deep and interesting. Fans of things like Johnny Quest, Scooby-Doo, and Nancy Drew need to catch up with this one! Read Full Review
The Seasons #5 continues the series' spellbinding descent into magical horror, pairing imaginative page design with unsettling encounters that echo real emotional trauma. The central conflict isnt terribly interesting, but the family drama that draws it all together is more than enough to keep it appealing from cover to cover. Spring rests at the center of it all. There may be a relatively predictable ending on the other end of the final panel of the series, but the emotionality of Spring makes Seasons a journey well worth taking. Theres an elegant simplicity to the fantasy of the horror the keeps it all so appealing as the issues continue to progress towards the inevitable conclusion of a satisfying story. Read Full Review
This book is always delivering beautiful art. It's also very frantic and doesn't give you a chance to really sink into the story. It's fine, just not something I wait with anticipation for.
