Adlard's design continues to be consistent in this issue as it's been throughout the arc"using a sixteen-panel grid to fit in as much action as possible. He does a good job of including a variety of panels"some full-page spreads, some that are a sixteenth of the page, some quarter-sized ones, and so on. "The Whisperer War" easily ranks among the biggest and most significant Walking Dead storylines to date, which is why it's so surprising to see the final chapter take such a quiet, low-key approach. There's some strong character drama to be found here, but little in the way of action or a satisfactory wrap-up to the war between our heroes and the Whisperers. Read Full Review
I don't know if we're allowed to swear on here or not? But HOLY $HIT! That opening of the issue was %UCKING EPIC!

Solid issue with two strong points: a revelation about Negan in the opening pages, and the revelation that the war is not finished, but only getting started in the closing pages.
