The Walking Dead seems to have really turned it around in the past few months. Hopefully, it keeps the momentum going because this issue is pretty intense.
The comic follows the cliffhanger of the last issue with Eugene and _ attempting to escape a zombie horde. I haven't followed the Walking Dead comic as much as the AMC series but it's amazing to see Eugene's evolution from a coward into someone that can be counted on when the chips are down.
Following the comic's opening events the rest of the issue follows the conflict at The Commonwealth. Mercer escapes and the Coup begins. Rick is caught in the middle attempting to protect _ and keep the peace.

Finally a good Walking Dead issue. This series needs a lot more of these.
