THE HUNT CONTINUES! His time is up.
Who woulda thunk that a zombie book would still be this good, this far along? Especially after that loooooong, slow period around the time they were in the prison. But hey, here we are at issue 65 and I’m still diggin’ it. As a matter of fact, this was one of the best issues in a long time and we finally got a nice “Oh hell yeah!” moment from Rick. This book is filled with so much doom and gloom (naturally), and we rarely get to see the protagonists acting like badasses and getting their just desserts. We’ll see how it turns out next issue (I have a strong feeling that we can’t trust Gabriel), but for now – it felt good to cheer for the heroes for a change. Another great issue. Read Full Review
This story arc wraps up in the next issue and more now than ever Kirkman is pushing the human drama to new heights and readers continue to ask the age old question “what would I do if that were me in those situations?” This book more than any other I have read conveys a sense of reality that allows you to relate to the terrible things that characters go through and the choices they make just to survive. I have truly enjoyed this story arc and look forward to seeing how it all wraps up next issue. Read Full Review
Were this arc to go on much longer I think the series would be dragging, but fortunately Kirkman looks primed to wrap things up next month. By the time our heroes do continue their march to Washington, I can only imagine the state they'll be in. Read Full Review
