Another stellar issue in the run that ends with more questions that answers … but isn't that how we love our comics!?! If you are a fan of anything that touches the Energon Universe, Void Rivals is a must on your pull list! Read Full Review
Void Rivals #22 delivers a massive scale battle between the Agorrians and Zertonians with Springer vs Proximus as the headliners. It is everything that is promised with the scale being massive. It all leads to Proximus pulling off a move that can be game changing if successful. The way Robert Kirkman and Conor Hughes built up to this ending gets you even more invested to find out where this series will go next. Read Full Review

Void Rivals #22 was another smash hit (in my opinion). I’ve bemoaned in the past that Kirkman was taking too long to get to the point … well this issue gets to the point in a major way. The conflict between the Agorrians and the Zertonians reaches what seems to be it’s climax. Meanwhile Kirkman balances the other plots that have been running in the background perfectly. Strange things are happening at Quintessa as the members of Cobra-La watch … but even stranger things are happening on their ship. The even more bizarre plot surrounding Suxxoid takes an emotional turn. The story is ramping up and I am 100% enjoying the ride! I highly recommend this issue (and series) as well as ALL of the Energon books!
This story is going on for far too long. We are approaching 2 years of the same story. I'm losing interest quickly. If it doesn't wrap up by issue 24, I think I'm going to drop it. We get a battle, and Proximus gets a rematch against Springer. How many of these remataching are we going to have? I don't care about the Skuzoid character. I was quite happy when he died, only for him to clone like a hydra. Let's see what happens over the next couple of issues.
