  If you are looking to read a really fun action packed comic with a great sense of drama then this would be the comic for you. Another thing I would like to add is that no matter what issue you pick up, whether it is your first Witchblade or your 163rd, Top Cow always does a good job of informing the reader what has been going on in the first page review as well as throughout the story. A little something to keep in mind in case you are a new reader or are thinking about hopping on… which you should, because Witchblade is really good, is that you will always get a sense of a complete story within every comic but will still be eager to find out what will happen next time.   In the meantime if you didn't read issue 162 this may be a hard spot to jump on, but next issue looks to be starting a new arc so that's probably as good a place as any. Otherwise give it a shot you just might be pleasantly surprised. Read Full Review

  I was impressed by the restraint in the issue by not objectifying the lead as I had assumed Witchblade was wont to do, and figured I must be wrong about this comic, but DON'T WORRY - Sara's shirt is torn in battle, and then another character is characterised by having breasts bigger than her head, because: boobs. Besides some imaginative flourishes, this is one to leave on the shelf. Read Full Review
