Ed Brisson and Scott Godlewski knock it out of the park as they finish up their run on Alphs Flight. We saw some great fight sequences, and art. Heather as Nemesis was very clear in the beginning, but it just hits all of my checks. Please Marvel. Give us more Alpha. Read Full Review

Alpha Flight #5 takes the hard path in the finale to show that there are no winners in war. Brisson is one of the few writers treating the Orchis threat with the seriousness, urgency, and drama it deserves, and the art team's visuals look great. Read Full Review

The pacing is a little off, but it's still a good read particularly with the promise of seeing some of these characters again in other comics in the near future. Read Full Review

I wasn't the biggest fan of how this ended, but I did think the issue was really solid as a whole. There's nothing really new for me to say about this issue that I haven't already brought up in my reviews for the previous four issues of this miniseries. Brisson wrote a good, engaging story and Godlewski provided some pretty nice art. This was definitely one of the best Fall of X miniseries.

This series remained a pretty good read throughout. Not my favorite of Fall of X, simply middle of the road. I am American though, so I may just be biased against our friends up north.

Ed Brisson delivers a thrilling climax to one of the better surprises in this the "Fall of X" storyline, leaving no hero unscathed. He balances high-octane action with moments of genuine pathos, culminating in a bittersweet victory that comes with a price. This miniseries didn’t reinvent the wheel or challenge the status quo, but it was an entertaining read and focused on characters who haven’t gotten the spotlight in quite some time. I don't think this will stick with me for very long but I'd be very interested in seeing more Alpha Flight in the future.
