Nov 15, 2023The villain storyline woven between everything isn't as compelling as Iceman's own story, and there's a lengthy block of text in the form of a letter that slowed everything to a crawl, but those are relatively small issues that don't bring down all the things that clearly work. Possibly the best issue so far with this one. Spider-Man being a guest star, of sorts, in this definitely helped. Carratù's art was really solid as well, and it has been throughout these past four issues. Back to the story, though, this was a fun team-up that kept me engaged throughout. While nothing spectacular, it was fairly enjoyable and it's always nice to see Peter and Bobby together.

I appreciate the way the plot is developing, and the art is (mostly) great, but that Hound fight is a total boat anchor. It's too long, and the combat quips are horrifying.
