"Black Panther" #12 doesn't pretend to be anything other than it is: an overblown, stuffed-to-the-gills action comic. It’s not that Mayberry has done a bad job plotting, his plots are great. The problem with Black Panther is the character writing. The characters are just depicted to be so unlike able. Shuri is great in the Black Panther movie but her comic book counterpart is so different. T’Challa is so stuck up and bitchy. Mayberry can’t even write Storm write. Storm is easily one of the best X-Men when Claremont was writing be she is a completely diffirent character in this series. Also the art is awful. Wakanda is always drawn very unappealing and Shuri is drawn so generic. Big boobs, tight costume, round butt
