If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times. One of the best things Marvel has given us is the friendship between Natasha and Clint. The loyalty and love between these two runs so deep and you can see it so clearly in Black Widow & Hawkeye #3. Another excellent comic for this run! Read Full Review
Black Widow & Hawkeye leans into Hawkeye's natural charm as God's beautiful idiot in a nostalgic flashback to the foundational partnership of his and Natasha's careers. It's a fun bit of action that plays up Clint's roguish nature in a classic costume that still looks great. Read Full Review
It's just not working. This book doesn't know what it's trying to do. Too much time in flashbacks and too scattered in the present. A book about Widow/Clint nostalgia? Sure. A book about fighting bad guys and an assassination plot? Sure. A book about Clint dealing with the symbiote? Okay. But it would take a really good writer to do all three of those things in 4 issues, and this is not coming together.
