The Nick Fury portion of this issue is a change of pace, opting for reflection more than aggression. Nick Fury Jr. couldn't be any more different from his dad, burning the life model decoy of Nick Fury and ditching his eye patch, opting for a more unique look. Nick Fury Jr returns to SHIELD by the end, and he's no longer a fugitive. He only trusts himself now, since Maria Hill basically sent him on a suicide mission. This storyline finishes with his donning sunglasses and telling us to “Deal with it.” It's an awesome ending, and cements Nick Fury's involvement in the current Marvel Universe as worthy. Choosing Sides finally has ended and it really stuck to it'soriginal idea of being just godawful. Granted, the White Fox story wasenjoyable and the art was unbelievable but aside from that this is anotherwaste of our time and money.
