Summary: Conan is a mercenary fighting for the Aesir against Vanir raiders. Conan is abducted by a winged being & taken to the Shaman's cave. The Shaman uses his Star-Stone to see visions of the past & the future, which drives him insane. Conan breaks free of his cell & destroys the Star-Stone. As the cave erupts in an inferno, Conan flees the cave, carrying the handmaid, Tara. Tara turns into a winged being. Tara tells Conan that he was to replace her in the Star-Stone & then vanishes.
Very good start to Conan. Lots of action and a decent story to boot. The art is ok but the colors spring off the page.
