Damage Control saved some of its best chaos for the finale, and Gus is right in the center of all of it. That's what makes it all work though, as writers Adam F. Goldberg and Hans Rodionoff utilize him perfectly throughout in both comedic moments and moments of revelation. Read Full Review
Damage Control #5 ends the series with the shocking reveal of Gus's history, and it winds up being as dumb as this series as a whole. While the art is quite good, and the general pacing and dialog execution are excellent, the story makes no sense, and the jokes fall flat. As a whole, this series is a waste of time. Read Full Review
A satisfying conclusion to the series as the book's central message comes into focus: nepotism is a bigger danger than any form of cosmic supervillainy. A really fun satire of superhero worlds and of workplace shenanigans. Will definitely read it again - I hope we see Gus and the Damage Control gang again soon!
