Cody Ziglar made Deadpool #15 feel like the best ending for the entire run. I'd love to see Ziglar continue to work with Deadpool in the future, as I feel he really knows what he's doing when writing the character. He writes Deadpool in a way that feels new, but authentic, to the character. Hats off to Cody Ziglar for this great run! Read Full Review
this was a really fun issue, and while the art leaves more to be desired, I like the writing and the chemistry between Deadpool and Taskmaster.
While I really like Ellie as a character and the dynamics of the whole Pool-family, every month is a slog to get through this book because of how much I hate Ziglar's writing. It just doesn't click for me at all. The comedy is too forced and the voice just doesn't sound right. I definitely miss the days of Joe Kelly and Daniel Way writing Deadpool. The art is ok. I did enjoy the brief backup story by Duggan and Lolli. It read and looked much better. I'm not sure how much longer I can hold onto sticking around just for the characters themselves if a new creative team isn't put on this book soon.
