The twist with Newton was great and the story behind him was well told. The adventure is written to feel like an older tale from earlier Strange days and that is a smart choice to differentiate itself form the other Strange title. The art is beautiful and has a classic style that I love.
It's just a good solid story. You get Newton's background this issue and some progression. You can see why Newton is motivated to get what he wants. Selfish but understandable. The art is on point and so is this story. Give this comic some love. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
A spotlight on Newton reveals a dark, driven soul. Our heroes take their first tentative steps on the road to tracking him. I feel like the author could have done more to make Newton relatable; this felt very generic to me. Guest artist Nathan Stockman delivered a very enjoyable visual experience; I'm hoping to see more of his work in the future.
