Romita is great as usual and his characters are easy to relate to. Of course his action scenes are impressive. I like to think of him as something similar to the Kubert brothers. That's just awesome. Why couldn't that movie be like this? There's an actual connection with the Marvel Universe, that we SEE and not just HEAR. And Makkari's powers were just ULTIMATELY shown here. I really miss this kind of superpowers demonstration in movies... In the movie he (She...) is just a generic speedster... It's not interesting at all. But here you really FEEL his power and how cool and complicated it is... You just LIVE through this.
