Loved the slow pace that focuses a lot on the personal lives of the Four. Just an example why Fantastic Four was one of the most iconic running comics
This was probably the only issue of Byrne's run I haven't liked so far. It's a bridge issue where the team is going off to do their own activities. That is, until Reed and Sue witness a burglary committed by an 8-foot-tall woman and her cronies. Sue literally hands Franklin to a cop and tells him to babysit for the remainder of the issue. They go all the way back to the Baxter Building without any way of contacting the cop and leave Franklin behind. What?! Talk about bad parenting. It turns out the 8-foot-tall woman is an alien, and our atmosphere makes her drunk. So drunk, in fact, that she can't communicate. Yeah, this is a pretty wack issue. Definitely, not one of Byrne's hotlighted moments.
